Interim Development Administration Officer

Our client is a well-established small arts charity and museum in central London with a compelling mission to inspire change and transform lives through creative practice. They are seeking a Temporary Development Administration Officer to join their growing team and support their fundraising and donor engagement activities.
Position Overview
You will manage day-to-day administration and donor communications, maintaining data integrity across their CRM system whilst supporting fundraising campaigns and grant applications. Your work will directly enable the charity to grow its supporter base and secure funding for its award-winning programmes and social impact initiatives.
The role is offered on a 4 day per week basis for a 6 month fixed term contract. The role is hybrid, with approximately 2 days per week required onsite.
Responsibilities
• Serve as first point of contact for donors and supporters
• Process donations, grants, and maintain accurate CRM records
• Support data migration projects and database management
• Write thank-you letters and donor communications
• Produce financial reports and fundraising campaign materials
• Research and assist with trust and foundation grant applications
• Support fundraising events and campaigns
Requirements
• Proven experience with not-for-profit CRM systems such as Beacon, Raiser's Edge, Salesforce etc
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft 365
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid financial administration and analytical abilities
• Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Experience in a fundraising environment (desirable)
